Dr. Costa is director and chief surgeon at Southeastern Facial Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery Center, P.A. in Charleston, South Carolina. He obtained his D.M.D. degree in 1979 as the First Honor Graduate, recipient of the Dean's Award and the prestigious "Golden Hands Award." Subsequently, he received his M.D. degree for which he was given the Special Award for Scholarship having graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He has completed residencies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery. In 1988, his training was concluded with an extended fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Costa is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
