Dr. Costa is director and chief surgeon at Southeastern Facial Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery Center, P.A. in Charleston, South Carolina. He obtained his D.M.D. degree in 1979 as the First Honor Graduate, recipient of the Dean's Award and the prestigious "Golden Hands Award."

Subsequently, he received his M.D. degree for which he was given the Special Award for Scholarship having graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He has completed residencies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery. In 1988, his training was concluded with an extended fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Costa is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Dana Heikes graduated from New York Medical College in 1972. He completed a medical internship and a year of medical residency, then a general surgery residency, including an appointment as Chief Resident at Lenox Hill Hospital, in New York City. In 1980, he concluded a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Heikes has served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the New York Medical College, President of the Associated Surgeons of Northern New Jersey, Director of A Nu You Cosmetic Surgery Centre, and Chief of the Department of Plastic Surgery at two New Jersey hospitals. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Heikes is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in body plastic surgery, including liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation, breast lifts and breast reductions.
